Our popular Old Brods WhatsApp Community group was introduced earlier this season and is proving to be a very useful way of keeping people up to date with happenings at the club.

Roughly once a week we send a message out to over 500 people letting them know about everything from forthcoming events and new membership perks to urgent details of match cancellations or alterations.

Each message is delivered as an "announcement" text which means everyone can read all the details but no one can reply.

Who are the messages aimed at?
The weekly update is compiled to be of interest to all our members. From parents in our tots or Under 6s teams, all the way up to past players who still have a passion for the club and an interest in what's happening here at Woodhead.

How to receive our messages?
Firstly, you'll need to be on WhatsApp if you're not already.
If you're already part of an existing Brods Whatsapp group (such as a team group or or parents group) then you'll probably be receiving our messages anyway.

If not, please drop James a text on 07966969591 so he can add you to the group.

How do I stop receiving the club's messages?
We rarely send more than one message a week as we're aware you're probably already in numerous WhatsApp group and receiving hundreds of other messages.

Obviously we want you to hear about all the great things that are going on but it is really easy to stop receiving our messages. Simply click on the group name at the top, scroll down and hit "exit this group".
