Brods will travel to Stocks Field on Saturday to play the Dalesmen kick off 3.00 pm.
After just 2 weeks of competition Ilkley are unbeaten with a substantial victory over promoted Consett on the opening day of the season followed up last Saturday with a more hard earned win away at Morpeth 31-3.
So with bonus points earned in both games they are in pole position with a maximum of 10 points. There is no doubt this will be Brods toughest challenge so far this season however with three solid performances in cup and league rugby in the bag two of which were away the Hipperholme boys will certainly be up for the challenge. Selection will continue to be difficult however in a good way with hopes that key players such as Rob Jennings and Phil Town may be available.
No doubt a good crowd of the Woodhead faithful will be travelling to support the Hipperholme boys in what is developing as expected into a season of promise!
