Men's Senior Team Manager George Ramsey has been nominated by one of our members for our club’s monthly recognition, in association with Gio’s Italian in Hipperholme.

Today (Monday) is also George's birthday - but that's not why he's in the spotlight!

Here's what the person who nominated him had to say...

"George has been a huge support for the senior coaching team, and manages all aspects of our logistics on and off the pitch. He has been a driving force behind the social committee in the club.

Mid way during the season he put his hand up to help out with the u16s who on Sunday won the Yorkshire Vase with a win away at Bridlington. He commutes from Leeds 3/4 times a week and is all in for the club.

It’s safe to say we couldn’t do what we do with out him."."
