Beavers v Cleck

Big raps to Cleck who when their pitch was flooded travelled over to sunny Hipperholme for a game almost as good as the one in the morning when England obliterated the All Blacks. When I say almost maybe a slight exaggeration. It was a game of two halves with Brods racing into the lead down the hill. Lively Callum was first on the scoresheet and too quick for the video man who was polishing his lens! Shaun Fleming flexed his muscles and drove over and Jacob Campbell slid in with Kieran Nalton dotting down two tries from strong scrummaging obviously inspired by Bob Dare. Should have been another try down the hill but Paul Turner earned the Beaver knocking on the ball with the line at his mercy.

The second half allowed Cleck to flex their muscles down the slope with three close range tries but with Oliver Williams capping a great performance with a try up the hill the Beavers were well in control. Bob Dare capped a great performance by almost smiling at the finish. Brods 42-17 Cleck.
