Friday 16 October at Crow Nest Golf Club: sixty golfers, the inaugural Bob Jackson Cup, and a dinner in the evening. Dinner places still available at £25.
3 October 2026
On Friday 16 October we'll be at Crow Nest Golf Club to honour a great man.
We sadly lost Bob Jackson back in April: a highly popular teacher and coach, a much loved friend and family man.
Sixty golfers, made up of Bob's friends and family, many from his Crow Nest and Brods connections, will be teeing off from noon, all aiming to win the inaugural Bob Jackson Cup.
In the evening there will be a fine two-course dinner followed by speeches, cup presentations and the day's raffle draw.
The golf clubhouse is open late afternoon for anyone that would like to join the golfers for a drink, with everyone sitting down at 7.30pm for the dinner.
Participation in the afternoon's golf has quickly reached its maximum capacity for the course. If you are interested in taking part and would like to be on the waiting list, should anyone drop out, please email james@oldbrods.co.uk.
For anyone looking to attend the evening dinner, places are still available at £25 per person. Again, simply email James (Oggy) at james@oldbrods.co.uk for more details.
Funds from the day will be heading to Cancer Research UK and to a new memorial garden and walk at the Brods.
