How it works

Sponsored by the High Corn Mill, the Brods Defensive Player of the Week recognises the biggest defensive contributions each match — from dominant hits and try-saving tackles to moments that change the momentum of the game.

The coaches or supporters award 3 points for first place, 2 for second and 1 for third, with a running total throughout the season to crown the Men's 1st XV Defender of the Year. Totals after 3 weeks.
