This year’s Senior Players’ Awards Night took place in the clubhouse on Friday 23rd May, signing off a decent season for our four senior sides.
The evening began with a notable “hurdles challenge” for all that hadn’t managed a try all season, followed by a sumptuous three-courser, before heading into the speeches.
The night was rounded off with three club awards. Elliot Craven collected the Brian Young Memorial Trophy, marking his positive player influence and leadership. Neil Sheard was presented with the Chairman’s Award for his years of involvement as countless coaching, team management and volunteering roles. And Peter Rhodes took home the TL Asquith Trophy celebrating more than 30 years of service to the club.
