We’re delighted to welcome our visitors from North Shields this Saturday for Round Three of our Papa Johns Cup journey. This mini-league has brought two intriguing matches for us so far with the narrow loss over at Selby and last week’s humdinger here against Birkenhead Park. I’m pretty sure last Saturday will live long in the memory of the players and spectators. It truly was quite the finish.

Only the winner of the pool progresses to next week’s semi-final and Selby are currenting in the box seat although nothing can be ruled out. Both of our teams here on Saturday are hoping for two outcomes; success at Woodhead Park and an upset at Selby where Birkenhead Park are the visitors.

Percy Park has had a great year, winning 19 out of 22 matches which crowned them Champions of Regional 2 North. In the Cup they beat Birkenhead Park 19-42 but narrowly lost 38-40 to Selby at home.
