Finish the summer off in style!
For those looking for a challenge to focus on this Summer - this is for you.
On Sunday 30th August we're bring you a festival of physical pursuits! Something for every age group, from a family fun run, right up to a 60k trail run or 100k bike ride.
There's a number of challenges to choose from, all of which either take place at the Brods or start/finish at the club.
They include:
The Brighouse Boundary Way Challenge
Join us on the picturesque paths and trails of the Brighouse Boundary Way. It's a 30k circular route, which can be picked up right next to the rugby club, and you have the choice to join the walking or running group to complete the full Brighouse orbital. If 30K is a little extreme, we've broken the route down into three 10k sections and are inviting teams of three to complete the relay. For those looking for something more extreme join our 60k ultra runners who will be running the Boundary Way twice.
Calderdale Cycle Challenge
If pedal power is more your thing, join our riders heading out on a choice of 70K or 100K cycling routes.
Family Fun Run
Within the grounds of the rugby club we'll have our 5K running/walking route that's aimed at all ages and abilities.
These challenges offer something for everyone, whether you're aiming to complete your first ever 5K fun run, or looking for a notable endurance test that'll take in some great local sights.
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line! Join us for sports taster sessions, music, stalls from 2pm and a BBQ.
Every step, pedal and mile helps Focus4Hope continue supporting vulnerable people across West Yorkshire and the Old Brodleians community rugby club.
All particiants will need to register via the link below and, as you'll see, everything is brilliantly priced:
