On Brodstock day (Saturday 22nd June) we have a hardy bunch of individuals taking to the streets of Calderdale and Kirklees for an epic fundraising Ultra Marathon challenge.

The Brodstock Music Festival Main Stage will be the START and FINISH LINE as a team of runners take on a gruelling 37-mile circuit that crosses district boundaries and tackles undulating landscapes.

THE TEAM
This Ultra is organised by the brilliant Focus4Hope charity, who are based in Brighouse, and the run itself is spearheaded but two of the Old Brodleians junior team coaches; Chris Green and Gareth Standeven.

THE CAUSES
The runners aim to raise money for…
- FOCUS4HOPE who provide support for the homeless, elderly, isolated, and vulnerable in West Yorkshire.
- OLD BRODS our community sports club where over 375 boys, girls and adults play every week.

UP FOR TAKING PART?
If you’d like to join the small team of runners, we’d like to hear from you!
- Entrants must have experience in distance running.
- Drink and food stations are included as well as medical assistance.
- It’s definitely NOT a race. You’d be joining a friendly team and this event could be perfect for your first Ultra.
- There is a minimum sponsorship amount required to participate.
