Sadly Pontefract couldn't raise a team for the first round of the Papa Johns Cup so Brods progressed to the next round with a "home win" and now head to Morley on Saturday 26th April.

The news that Pontefract wasn't coming only came through the day before so an impromptu "Social Sevens" tournament was put on at the club on Saturday afternoon to keep the rugby featured.
