Everyone at the Old Brods is delighted to hear club member and volunteer Neil Davidson has been awarded the honour of Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his services to Charity and the community in Calderdale!

Neil has been an active volunteer for many causes over the decades, including the rugby club.

Following his own cardiac arrest in 2017, he set up his own Community CPR Fund to support CPR training, defibrillators installations and heart screening opportunities locally.

Here at the Brods, Neil is a valued team member of our Brodstockers, Friday Club, our emerging Business Club and a huge backer of all events, dinners and matches. His annual fundraising Sporting Lunch, held in the clubhouse, is a particular calendar highlight.
