We'd just like to issue a huge thank you to everyone's that’s taken the opportunity to log on to the Calderdale Council planning portal and leave a message of support for the club's application.

The comments of support for been truly humbling and it's brilliant to see so many people behind the ambition to use the capital, raised via the sale of the pitch over the road, to add so much to the main site.

There has also been objections to the proposals and we remain respectful of all the opinions that may differ from ours.

For decades we've talk about the sale of the pitch across the road to fund enhancements to our facilities.

For 15 years we've been preparing for the moment, securing further land, building a new floodlit pitch, adding additional parking capacity and continuing to grow the participation numbers.

For the past 5 years, things have really ramped up as we prepared our case.

And last year the plans and proposals were ratified by members at our AGM.
