With a heavy heart we share the sad news of the passing of Raymond Cooper this week.
Raymond was a hugely respected player by all his teammate and all who saw him play. An outstanding centre who spent the best part of two decades in our 1st XV and also captained the side of the 1980-81 season. In 1980 he also received the TL Asquith Trophy, our annual individual recognition for outstanding service to the club.
Our thoughts are with his close friends and family; in particular is brother Stuart and sons Richard and Jonathan.
