We're delighted to announce that from the 1st October we're introducing a new Members' Card at the Brods allowing the club to provide a raft of additional benefits exclusively to the membership.

These loyalty cards will be available to all 2023/24 senior members and will be ready for collection from the Clubhouse bar, during opening hours, from this weekend. Please find more information below.

What is a Brods Members' Card?
They are the same size as a credit card with a chip inside that will need activating the first time it's used (our bar staff will do this for you) so they can be assigned to active members. You'll need to keep the card with you so you can present it to receive the discounts and benefits.

Who can receive one?
Full members over the age of 18 (including Senior Members, Senior Playing Members and Life Members), Social Members and Junior Parent Members will all have the opportunity to collect a card.

How much does the card cost?
Nothing. Thanks to our club sponsor Estate Sawmills there is no set up charge to our members or the club as they have kindly picked up the bill.

What are the main benefits?
The biggest perk is definitely the drinks discounts you'll receive in the clubhouse. Your card must be scanned on the till for you to receive the membership discount which is up to 10% off some products.

What sort of discounts can I expect in the clubhouse?
As an example, for every pint of premium lager (such as Moretti or Cruzcampo) you'll save 50p. It's the same for Guinness and Inch's cider.
Plus, should you ever want to hire the clubhouse for your own party you'll also get 50% off the room hire fee.

Do I need to "load" my card to receive the discounts on the bar?
You can add credit on your card if you wish but you don't need to in order to gain the discounts.

Can I share my card with friends and family so they can receive the same discounts?
Unfortunately not... but they are all welcome to become a member like you! When your card is scanned on the clubhouse tills your name and membership details appear on the screen. This is also useful if we find lost cards as we will be able to reunite you with your card.

What other benefits will there be?
The QR code on the front of each card will take you to a list of perks that we'll be updating throughout the season. So far, a number of our club sponsors have signed up to give members a discount should you do business with them. You'll just need to show your card!

Does the card have an expiry date?
The Club Member cards will work until the start of the following season. Therefore, you'll need to keep and reactivate your card next September, once you've paid your 2024/25 membership.

Please note - we don't anticipate any issues in allocating and activating the cards but please bear with us during the rollout as we have a lot of cards to distribute, it's a new system for the club and all through our newly installed tills. Many thanks.
