Sadly I have to advise that last Friday we lost a good friend and long time supporter of the Brods.

“One Song” John Milnes passed peacefully at the Overgate Hospice in Elland.

John had been struggling for some time however you would never have known it as he continued to live life to the full and would never complain.

Milnsey to his mates was a faithful supporter of the Brods, A True “ Veterano ” who would volunteer for any job that needed doing. One of our original waiters at the pre match lunches and a great tourist on numerous trips to the continent over the last 30 years or more. Noted for his superb rendition of “ If I Were a Rich Man “ he was simply known as “ One Song John” and his rendition was always a highlight of our trips.

Milnsey was indeed a rich man, rich in spirit and loved life . He leaves a loving family and our thoughts are with you.
