On behalf of myself and the Committee we’re delighted to inform every one of two key appointments ahead of the new season. Ryan Loach has now taken over the club’s kitchen and James Ogden is set to become the club’s first ever General Manager at the end of the month.
Long-term Beavers player and junior team coach Ryan Loach has been an outstanding club volunteer for a number of years now and is well known to many members. We’re excited to have him as our new Head Caterer taking charge of the food provision for matchdays and all functions. Ryan brings a wealth of culinary skills and experience to the Brods along with a number of new approaches and ideas he’d like to introduce to further increase the use of our clubhouse facilities. He has already built an excellent reputation locally through his role as Head Chef at The Bottomley’s Arms in Shelf and with his outside catering services.
James Ogden has been a proactive member of our General Committee for more than a decade and is a proud recipient of the TL Asquith Trophy, the club’s highest award for voluntary endeavour. He’s previously been the driving force behind club initiatives such as the Brods Tots section, charity partnerships, the club shop, our Queens Award submission, creating the Project90 fundraiser, attracting corporate supporters like Coral Windows, as well as being one of the Brodstock co-founders. James (Oggy) has been a Brod since he was 12 and we’re looking forward to him bringing all this marketing and events experience to the club on a full-time basis.
Please join me in wishing them well and supporting them where you can.

Despite James not starting in his new role until August he is encouraging as many members as possible to take part in the short feedback survey linked below.
The new season is fast appraoching so James is keen to hear members' thoughts and ideas straight away. If there's something you'd like to share that you think the club could benefit from please let us know via the link here "Have your say" survey
